That bit of pop-art, earlier here, was so very pretty, that I just had to dress this place up some more with another picture.

David Hockney (1937- ) is a British artist who settled in southern California in the 1960's, where he developed his particular pop-art style of the time. He made many paintings like this - playing with the sunlight, and the artificiality of the two-dimensional/three-dimensional visual space of swimming pools.
